This Australian Art Print features a painting that John Dyer created in the Australian outback during his Banrock Station Wine residency. A rich purple sky with the burning Australian sun shining down on the wetlands of Banrock Station. Sulphur-crested cockatoos fly past the gum trees and roost amongst the grapes in the vineyard. A kangaroo hops past the juicy purple grapes ripening in the Australian sun. A really stunning print from Banrock Station’s artist in residence John Dyer.

“The vineyards flourish on the well drained sandy loam soils above the valley. The hot summer sun demands that the vines are irrigated to keep them alive. Careful irrigation is dripped to the vine and shady vine canopies produce premium bunches of grapes for our wines. The gregarious sulphur-crested cockatoos gather and screech in the gums and in the cool vineyard.” Manager of Banrock Station Wine
